Teen Speaking Skills frequently supports San Diego Toastmasters by donating complimentary course tuitions to support the Toastmasters Area, Division, & District speech contests in San Diego and this contest season is no exception!
Your first opportunity to win a complimentary tuition to one of the Teen Speaking Skills fall public speaking skills courses will be during the Toastmasters Area 17 speech contest on Friday, Sept. 28. The contest will begin at 7 p.m. in the CIMBio building at Scripps, which is located at 3215 Merryfield Row in San Diego 92121.
Parking is free and admission is only $5. Refreshments will be served and you will have the chance to enter the opportunity drawing to win fantastic prizes such as a Teen Speaking Skills fall course tuition valued at $299!
The theme for the Area 17 Toastmasters contest is Star Wars. The Toastmaster for the evening will be Chinedu Odu. In addition to enjoying the entertaining speeches and the speech evaluations, you will undoubtedly enjoy listening to this very talented Toastmaster!
