Before I embraced this challenge by joining Toastmasters, I had a set, routine schedule where I worked for someone else. It was a good job, but I didn’t have as much time freedom and liberty to set my own schedule as I would have liked.
After confronting and overcoming my fear of public speaking and developing my leadership skills, I had the experience and ability I needed to start my own business and become a successful entrepreneur.
I didn’t have a background in business, but I had discovered my purpose in life. I had passion and confidence. I had become assertive and decisive. For this pivotal change to occur, creating effective communication skills and building my confidence were key.
If you would enjoy feeling more confident and assertive, developing your public speaking and leadership skills will support you. If you dream of starting your own business and becoming a successful entrepreneur, effective communication skills are essential.

The winter 2014 public speaking classes will begin on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at After School Learning Tree in San Diego. The pre-teen level one class will meet from 4-5 p.m. and the pre-teen advanced class will meet from 5-6 p.m.
The spring 2014 public speaking classes will begin on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Hampton Inn Del Mar. The courses offered will include level one for pre-teens, teens, and adults and the advanced class for pre-teens and teens.
