Congratulations to Academy for Public Speaking graduate Ella Engelberg!
Ella won 2nd place and a $1,500 scholarship in the San Diego District Optimist Club Oratorical Contest for 2020. We are very proud of you, Ella!
The topic for the 2020 speech contest was Just Imagine a World Without Boundaries. Contestants presented a 4-5 minute speech and began competing at the club level. Winners from the club level advanced to the zone level, and winners from the zone level advanced to the district level.
