The Academy for Public Speaking empowers children to become confident, effective communicators and leaders. Over the past decade we have helped over 2,500 children gain greater confidence and develop essential communication and leadership skills.
During our fun and highly interactive online camps and courses students enjoy interacting with their peers as they gain confidence, public speaking skills, and leadership experience.
Our award-winning instructors create a positive, support, and friendly atmosphere. Students learn how to organize their thoughts, write and present speeches, and provide written and verbal evaluations for their classmates in a positive, helpful manner.

Students also enjoy informal communication opportunities, developing their impromptu speaking skills, and participating in interesting communication-based games and activities.
Our next online public speaking camps will meet via Zoom on December 28-31, 2020. The pre-teen public speaking camp is sold out, but space is still available in the teen public speaking camp. The teen public speaking camp will meet from 12:30-2:30 p.m. PST.
Registration is also available for our winter and spring 2021 online public speaking and debate courses. The winter Saturday courses include public speaking for teens and pre-teens and advanced public speaking. The spring Saturday session also includes a debate course for teens.
