Academy for Public Speaking Graduate
Public speaking classes will help your child gain confidence and effective communication skills. Confident students are not only more successful in terms of academic achievement in school, but they also enjoy better relationships and are less likely to be bullied.
The Academy for Public Speaking offers fun, interactive courses for children and teenagers throughout San Diego. Students develop confidence, public speaking, and leadership skills by participating in after school enrichment or weekend classes.
The Academy for Public Speaking was founded in 2010 to help children become confident, effective communicators. Since 2010 the Academy for Public Speaking has empowered over 850 students throughout San Diego to realize their voices are powerful tools they can use to make a positive difference in their own lives and in the lives of others throughout the world.
Academy for Public Speaking graduates learn essential communication and leadership skills that give them an advantage in school and life. From earning better grades to participating in speech and debate, speaking at community events in San Diego, competing in speech contests, and winning scholarships, Academy for Public Speaking graduates excel in their endeavors and enjoy the success they experience as a result of their confidence and communication skills. We currently offer Saturday classes at the Hampton Inn Del Mar and after school enrichment courses through the Del Mar Union School District and at After School Learning Tree in Sorrento Valley. If you would like to have our program offered at your child’s school, please contact us.
We also offer private, in home courses for groups with four or more students and personal coaching sessions to help children and adults prepare for presentations, contests, and interviews.
