The Academy for Public Speaking helps children and adults in San Diego develop their confidence, public speaking, and leadership skills through fun, interactive courses and personal coaching sessions.

Academy Graduates Have Fun Gaining Confidence!
People who can express themselves clearly and confidently have an advantage over peers in school and life. In fact, effective communication skills are one of the most important qualities employers consider when making decisions regarding hiring and promotions.
The Academy for Public Speaking offers courses, summer camps, and personal coaching sessions to empower teens, pre-teens, and adults to become confident, effective communicators.
Academy for Public Speaking courses and camps provide a fun, interactive environment where students learn through participating and cooperating with their peers. Class size is limited to a maximum of 15 students to ensure students receive an exceptional level of individualized attention and instruction as well as ample opportunities to practice and develop their confidence, public speaking, and leadership skills.
Academy for Public Speaking Graduate
Our courses include level one, advanced, and masters level public speaking courses for students ranging from 3rd-12th grade. We also offer a debate course and a speech contests course. Private, in home classes customized to your scheduling needs are offered for groups with four or more students. Personal coaching sessions are available for children and adults in preparation for presentations, interviews, pageants, and contests.
Academy for Public Speaking summer camps are available in July and August. We also offer before and after school enrichment courses during the fall, winter, and spring through the Del Mar and Solana Beach School Districts, The Rhoades School in Encinitas, and at After School Learning Tree and Golden Dragon Institute in Sorrento Valley. Additional locations are available for private courses.
