Academy for Public Speaking Students in San Diego Speak Up to Support Charities

The Academy for Public Speaking spring 2013 students showcased their public speaking skills during their graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 22, 2013.

The teen and pre-teen level one students shared their persuasive charity speeches. Each child chose a charity to represent during the speech contest. The winners from the speech contests won donations for their charities.

Congratulations to Academy for Public Speaking graduates Claire Chung and C.C. Schwab! Claire won a donation for the Animal Protection and Rescue League, and C.C. won a donation for the World Wildlife Fund.

Since the Academy for Public Speaking was founded in San Diego in 2010, our public speaking graduates have raised awareness and money for more than 30 different charities.

We are so proud of these talented young San Diego students for using their voices to make a positive difference in our community and in our world!
