Daniel Wins 3rd Place!
The Del Mar Solana Beach Optimist Club held their annual speech contest this past Saturday at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Solana Beach.
Speech contestants showcased their public speaking skills as they presented 4-5 minute speeches on the topic How My Best Brings Out the Best in Others.
The Del Mar Solana Beach Optimist Club Oratorical Contest is always an extremely popular speech contest, and this year was no exception. Twenty-seven students competed to win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Congratulations to Academy for Public Speaking graduate Daniel Kalotov for winning 3rd place and $50 in the speech contest! We are proud of you, Daniel!
