Teen Speaking Skills Students Win Speech Contests all over San Diego!!

You can’t win, if you don’t enter! But unlike the lottery where it’s highly unlikely you’ll ever win, everyone who enters a speech contest wins every time.

You may not win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place when you first begin competing, but you will have other wins. You will grow as a speaker. You will gain confidence. You will speak before a larger audience, including people you do not know. You will improve your public speaking skills, and you may even win money!

During the winter 2013 Teen Speaking Skills graduations, also held on March 16th in Del Mar, the level one students competed in speech contests to win a donation for the charity of their choice. Congratulations to pre-teen graduate Giovanna Aguilar and teen graduate Jaydon Levitt for winning donations for the Ronald McDonald House and The Friendship Circle! Congratulations also to Teen Speaking Skills advanced graduate Christin Lacey for winning the entertaining speech contest!

Earlier that same day Teen Speaking Skills President and Founder Kathleen Petrone competed as well in the Toastmasters International speech contest for Area 24 – Carmel Valley and Del Mar.
