The spring 2012 Pre-Teen Speaking Skills students at Ocean Air Elementary School celebrated their completion of a 10 week course to improve their confidence, public speaking, and leadership skills. Throughout this fun and highly interactive course each child completed 4 speech projects. The children also developed their impromptu speaking skills and learned how to give effective evaluations to their peers.
The students showcased their public speaking skills for their parents and classmates who attend the child care program after school. The graduates presented their final speech project during a persuasive charity speech competition. Congratulations to Eva for winning 1st place and a $25 donation for The Humane Society!
